Rhine bank

The banks of the Rhine in Mainz are divided into three sections. The Adenauer-Ufer, which begins in Neustadt and extends to Fischtorplatz, the Stresemann-Ufer, which ends at Fort Malakoff and finally the Victor Hugo-Ufer, which extends to the railroad bridge.

On the opposite bank of the Rhine, the Kasteler Ufer is a great spot for sunbathing. From there, you can quickly and easily reach the Maaraue. In addition to walks, jogs, and picnics, the Rhine riverbank in Mainz is also a great place for boat trips. Recommended destinations include the Rhine island of Nonnenau and the Ginsheim Rhine boat mill.
