This assistance is intended to enable individuals whose particular living circumstances lead to social difficulties—and whose participation in community life is thereby impossible or significantly impaired—to integrate into society.
Anyone who has fallen into particularly difficult living circumstances (e.g., is homeless, has committed a crime, has no family, or lacks a secure livelihood) and cannot overcome these circumstances on their own is entitled to this assistance. These particular social difficulties may stem from the individual seeking assistance, their current living circumstances, or their social environment.
The assistance includes all necessary measures to eliminate the specific difficulties that stand in the way of integration into society. These include, above all:
- counseling and personal support for those seeking help and their family members,
- Assistance in finding housing,
- Measures to help them find employment, and
- Support for coping with daily life.
You do not have to meet any requirements to receive the initial consultation.
In order to receive assistance, decisions on individual cases are necessary.
Please note the following:
Counseling to help overcome specific social
difficulties can also be provided anonymously.
