If your corporate card has been stolen, you will need a replacement immediately. As a business owner or as an authorized representative, you can submit the application for a replacement card.
When submitting the application, you must provide the relevant office with proof that you have filed a police report regarding the theft.
The replacement corporate card remains valid until the same date as the stolen original card—provided that the original card would have been valid for more than 6 months. The validity period does not, therefore, start over from the beginning. If the remaining validity period of the card is less than 6 months, you will receive a renewed card.
Once a replacement card is issued, the original card becomes invalid. If you or someone else finds the original card, you must return it to the issuing authority.
As a business owner, you are responsible for the proper use of the card or cards. In addition, you must ensure that the company card is inserted into the tachograph at the beginning and end of the vehicle’s use for your business in order to assign the vehicle’s use to your company.
