The Building Maintenance Department ensures the long-term preservation of municipal properties through teams of experts and four regional units. It is responsible for ongoing maintenance, renovation, and preservation in accordance with historic preservation guidelines, and manages schools, daycare centers, administrative buildings, and special historic and cultural buildings and facilities citywide.
Regions A through D ensure comprehensive management of the city’s building inventory and carry out maintenance and renovation work.
